All the songs in the album were written by the group members who are inspired by their personal experience and a love for music, culture and technology-laden beat. With all the dedication put in, the album earned the group 3x platinum with two hit singles My Humps and Dont Phunk With My Heart. The single Pump It, on the other hand, was featured in a Best Buy electronics commercial and not long enough became a household name. The bandís success has continued in recent years. In 2009, they released the album, The E.N.D., spawning numerous hit singles.
