Prince The Singer Continues To Push Past Pop Expectations

That’s right, the man born Prince Rogers Nelson is still alive and kicking, even after changing his name to a Love Symbol no one could pronounce between the years of 1993 and 2003. Today, this gifted musician is just as well loved as ever, but it has taken time and talent for him to see the world’s highest peaks of success and none can say that he has not given it his all in the pursuit of pop music excellence. Not only has Prince brought the world 10 Platinum albums over the course of his career, he has taken 30 singles into the Top 40′s in the United States alone. Songs such as When Doves Cry, Darling Nikki, Nothing Compares 2 U, Cream and many others are classics in the annals of pop music history. In addition, he also starred in his own movie, Purple Rain. There are precious few performers who have scaled such heights of grandeur as he has and still come out sane, fresh and creative, even if a little bit mysterious for a time.
